The MBBS (MD Equivalent) program at the International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) is a globally recognized undergraduate medical degree designed to meet international medical education standards. Although termed MBBS, it is equivalent to an MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree in Kyrgyzstan and many other countries. The program combines strong theoretical foundations with extensive clinical training, preparing students for global licensing exams such as FMGE/NEXT, USMLE, and PLAB.
Choosing the MBBS (MD Equivalent) program at the International University of Kyrgyzstan offers a well-balanced combination of affordability, global recognition, and practical medical training, making it an ideal option for Indian students planning to study abroad. The program is delivered in English and follows a curriculum aligned with international standards and NMC guidelines, ensuring that graduates are eligible for major licensing exams such as FMGE/NEXT, USMLE, and PLAB. One of the biggest advantages is the significantly lower cost compared to private medical colleges in India, without compromising on quality education. Students also benefit from early clinical exposure in affiliated hospitals, modern infrastructure, experienced faculty, and high seat availability across multiple campuses, which makes the admission process more accessible.
